Thanks to a nationwide waiver from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Department of Education is pleased to announce that all students at Hawaiʻi’s 257 public schools statewide will receive free breakfast and lunch meals for the entirety of the 2021-22 school year.
The Hawaiʻi Department of Education and the Department of Health partnered with us to test the drinking water for lead at Hawaiʻi elementary schools. Happily, the results show that no lead is present in the drinking water at our school.
This summer, Haʻaheo School is hosting summer school and transition programs based on priority and availability.
Ha‘aheo School will NOT be serving GRAB & GO MEALS this summer.

Let's celebrate our 6th Graders as they complete their final days at Ha‘aheo School.
For the 2021-22 school year scheduled to begin on August 3, all HIDOE schools will be fully open for in-person learning.
Multiple COVID-19 cases have been confirmed at schools on ʻOahu & Maui following Mainland travel. The attached letter has been sent just a precaution for families on all islands who may have participated in the mentioned events.
