Construction Updates

We are so happy to share more updates from our campus renovations! School staff and School Community Council members were able to visit Haʻaheo this past Thursday (8/5/24), and many changes have occurred since our last update. Our A-building classrooms are being reconstructed to combine older classrooms into new larger rooms for our students, and the new walls are up and electrical upgrades and air conditioning installations are in progress.

The foundation of our new classroom building has been completed and is now awaiting inspection, and all materials are on site to begin the foundation of our new multi-purpose building. Materials are also in place to begin our new expanded parking lot, as well as overflow parking for our future family events.

The current anticipated completion date for construction is February 2026. This is subject to change should other factors (weather, etc) cause any delays, but we will keep you updated on any changes to the completion date.

We hope to continue site visits once per quarter for regular updates until construction is completed and if you are a community member or parent who would like to join us on a site visit, please reach out to TA Principal Jason Trimble. Unfortunately, at this time, students are not able to come on campus as it is an active construction site, but we will continue to share photos and updates as often as possible.

We so appreciate your patience, and we look forward to returning our beautiful home campus!

We are so excited to share that the construction of our new multi-purpose building and the expansion of our A-building classrooms is moving along quickly! Our most recent update (May 2024) has demolition of the portables and bathrooms completed, and they are now working on developing the foundations of our new buildings and renovating the interiors of our existing main building. We look forward to being back on campus as soon as construction is complete and appreciate the patience of our Haʻaheo families.
