School Community Council (SCC)

School Community Councils (SCC) play a vital role in Hawaii’s education system. They are part of the leadership structure at each school and enable shared-decision making among principals, teachers, school staff, parents, students and community members to improve student achievement.

Members participate for a 2 year term (2023-2024 school year and 2024-2025 school year), and include representatives from the school (student, teacher, principal, parents) and the community at large.

SCC Meetings are held online, and will be held on:
  • September 5th, 2024
  • November 14th, 2024
  • February 13th, 2025
  • April 17th, 2025

If you would like to participate as part of the SCC, or become an SCC member,  please contact:
