Aloha!
My name is Leah MacLeod. I have been teaching here at Ha’aheo since I graduated from the UHH teaching program in 1999. I spent 5 years teaching special education and the past 15 teaching third grade.
I live in Mountain View with my husband, my 29 year old son Kaleb, who has cerebral palsy, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. I also have a 27 year old named Gavin and two precious little granddaughters. On my free time I enjoy creating art dolls using a variety of mixed media and textiles, and hiking with my dogs.
I love teaching third grade. It is such a privilege for me to come here every day and work with them. They are truly some of my biggest inspiration and teach me so much about life and how to be a better human being.
